The Famous Tuberose Harvest in Grasse
Cooled by the wind and bathed in the Mediterranean sun, the fertile soil of Grasse provides the ideal conditions for growing high-quality owers for fragrances. Since 2011 Chanel has been growing Tuberose in their harvest in Grasse. Today Tuberose is on the most important ingredients of the new #theGABRIELLECHANELfragrance, created by Olivier Polge, the Perfumer Creator or better said “the nose” of CHANEL. Walking through the fields of the Chanel harvest, you can smell the scents of all unique flowers growing there. It´s so intense and pure, I honestly couldn´t believe it and really enjoyed walking through the fields
Dans Le Champs de Chanel – #theGABRIELLECHANELfragrance
The four main ingredients of the new fragrance Gabrielle Chanel are Tuberose, Ylan Ylan, Orange Blossom and Jasmine. We had a very intimate presentation of the new fragrance by Olivier Polge himself. I cannot describe how interesting it was to dive into his thoughts and understand how Monsieur Polge creates a new fragrance. The weather in Grasse was so beautiful, that we had lunch outside with a beautiful view over the harvest.
