Fashion week month is finally over and I am back with a little recap from Paris for you. This blogpost will focus on my Paris Fashion Week outfits I wore throughout my stay and I will tell you everything about season’s new must-have sneakers by Louis Vuitton.
Paris – the capital of fashion
I love traveling to Paris for fashion week. The beautiful city, the vibes, the people- I always have a great time. As you guys know from following my stories on Instagram, fashion weeks are always super busy and schedules are extremely tight. Over the years that I am in business know, I have learned that comfort should always play a huge role for your outfits. There is nothing worse than wearing an uncomfortable outfit when you have to rush from one appointment to another. While high heels used to be the norm for fashion weeks a couple of seasons ago, sneakers and flats have taken over and are the THING right now. After all, it is really not about looking extremely chic, it’s about being at ease and feeling comfortable.
LV Archlight Sneaker
The minute Nicolas Ghesquière presented Louis Vuitton’s new Archlight Sneaker on the runway in October 2017, I was madly in love. There’s nothing subtle about this sneaker. It has an oversized sole and an extra long tongue. However, it is one of the most popular shoes of the season and definitely a must-have. It is inspired from 90ies basketball style and combines both, fashion and function. I love its futuristic look and its versatility. As you can see in my outfits below, the Archlight Sneaker was my faithful companion during fashion week.
Keeping things simple
My first look is a super simple and classic look. You guys know, how much I love neutral colors and timeless pieces. I’m wearing my badass olive Hironae Paris leather pants , I wore in a previous post here and a beautiful white coat by Les Coyotes de Paris. The cosy Isabel Marant knit and my Louis Vuitton bag pick up the colors of the jacket and pants and create a monochrome look. The Archlight Sneaker adds that extra little bit of coolness and a discreet splash of color to my classic look.

The shearling coat
I wore my second look for the Louis Vuitton FW 18/19 re-see. The look is very similar to the first one. I only swapped the Isabel Marant knit for a more colorful Baum und Pferdgarten shirt dress and and the long coat for my all-time favorite Dorothee Schumacher jacket. It has been my lifesaver in cold Moscow a couple of weeks ago. I just had to try this badass shearling coat and the insane bag at the Louis Vuitton re-see. They are both part of the FW 18/19 collection and I am already obsessed. What do you guys think? Doesn’t the shearling coat match my outfit perfectly?

Louis Vuitton- head to toe
You all know who much I love Louis Vuitton and that I’m a real #VuittonGirl. I normally like to stick to neutral colors but couldn’t resist and had to get this green blazer. Black leather pants and the classic Louis Vuitton bag, keep the look simple and the main focus on the blazer. The Archlight Sneaker underlines the look and adds a sporty touch to the rather elegant and classic outfit. Mixing different kind of styles, has always been my strength.

Pop of pink – Samsoe Samsoe
How pretty is this colorful Samsoe Samsoe dress? It is the perfect piece to get into the mood for spring. Because a girly dress and heels would be way too elegant for my style, I decide to pair it with the coolest MCM accessories ever. They are part of the limited MCM x KÖNIG SOUVENIR collection that was launched at the beginning of the year. I love how classic and German luxury design meets art. The collection clearly was designed with the airport and travel in mind, yet focussed on preserving MCM’s signature monogram.

Blue and grey with Baum und Pferdgarten
Sometimes a classic checked coat is all you need for a chic business outfit. I decided to wear this elegant Baum und Pferdgarten coat for a long day of meetings in Paris. I am really into the color combination of light blue and grey. To keep things matchy, I went for my light blue Baum und Pferdgarten shirt dress again, black flared pants and accessories in grey and silver. I really missed wearing my beloved Gucci mules during winter.

Dorothee Schumacher – 2 different looks
I’ve been working with Dorothee Schumacher for quite a while now and I really love her designs. For the presentation of her new collection in Paris I went for this allblack outfit. Without a doubt, you can never go wrong with black. I am wearing comfortable track pants, and a cozy crop top. To add an elegant touch to the extremely sporty outfit, I decided to go for high heels instead of flats and wore a cute tulle top underneath – layering to the max. I really like the way the soft pink adds femininity to the casual look. I fell in love with the new trench of the Dorothee Schumacher collection. Obviously I had to wear it immediately.

You can never go wrong with a pair of black leggings and an oversized hoodie. My second Dorothee Schumacher look, is all about comfort. It is part of her new capsule collection ‚dog walk‘. What do you think? Am I walking my imaginary dog in style?

Denim and knit
The last look I want to share with you, is this cool combination of my new Peter Pilotto knit and my all-time favorite Goldsign Jeans. Im totally in love with the soft color combination of the jumper – hello spring feelings! White Jimmy Choo boots and the bright-red MCM bag are perfect eye-catcher and immediately upgrade this casual every day outfit.
