Autumn is finally here and the last warm days are counted. Today’s blogpost is about my last summer outfit and some of my favorite summer purchases. I’m pretty sure you will see one or the other in my future autumn outfits.

Goyard – French luxury

When I invest in a new luxury handbag, I always like to go for a classic bag that will never go out of style. The house of Goyard combines both, heritage and passion. The Parisian brand is one of the few luxury brands that are known for their rarity and exclusivity. Its exclusivity goes back two centuries in a discrete way, no other brand can compete with. Goyard’s prime press strategy is silence. The brand doesn’t advertise or list products on its website. It rarely gives interviews to the media and it would never celebrate a huge launch or fashion week party. It is the only luxury brand that doesn’t sell anything online. Its own rules are strickt and Goyard would rather not sell anything at all than trying to sell underpriced and small leather goods to every person in the world.

Goyard is known for its famous monogram prints. Instead of using its first initial – like most other brands do – Goyard uses the Y as the central letter. The brand’s secrecy and mystery demands desire. I was craving for a Goyard bag for quite a while now until I finally got my hands on the limited edition of the new Saint Louis Claire Voie Tote a couple of weeks ago. It is a modern update on their iconic Saint Louis tote. It is made of a special canvas and includes a removable pochette. But the best thing about the limited edition: The bag is reversible. That makes two completely different styles in one bag. The Saint Louis tote comes in five colors I decided to go for the blue version.

My look in details

Today’s outfit is all about mixing different shades of blue. I wanted to create a look that is unobtrusive, yet special. I really love my new Roksanda bow blouse. It is such an elegant statement piece. It has cropped sleeves with structured bows on each side and a tailored fit. The strong navy color is a nice contrast to the light denim material of the Frame skirt. It not only completes the outfit, but ensures a skillful mix of styles. Instead of choosing heels, I decided to go for some Chanel slides for my last summer outfit. You never know, when we are able to get them back out of our wardrobe again.
