Sometimes all you need is a pair of basic jeans, a statement sweater and a high quality handbag et voilà you’re ready to go. Check out today’s blogpost to see the look I have created with my new Versace sweatshirt.
On cold autumn days I love to cuddle up in a cozy sweater. It is my go-to piece for autumn and lifesaver when temperatures start to drop. To me, you can never go wrong with a nice sweater. It is such a versatile piece and perfect for nearly enough all situations in everyday life. You can easily dress it up with fancy heels or keep it relaxed with a pair of comfy sneakers.

The Versace comeback
I already wrote an article about the huge Versace comeback this season. For those, who haven’t seen it yet, make sure to read it here. The 80s are currently being revered and as I already mentioned before, I totally love it. Lots of prints and patterns, shoulder pads and iconic logos everywhere. Versace stands for opulent Italian fashion design and defines itself in a bold and powerful way. In my previous blogpost I presented a silk blouse to you in an iconic Versace signature pattern, this time however I chose to go for a more unobtrusive piece.
The statement sweater
I found my new sweater on stylebop.com, my number one destination for luxury shopping. The Versace sweater is such a cool statement piece. It’s neither a typical sweatshirt nor a real pullover. Half of it is made of a soft cotton jersey, the other half is made of high quality wool. Half a pullover, half a sweatshirt – the perfect eye-catcher. The cotton body comes along with a statement logo branding. The sweatshirt creates an easy and laid-back attitude whereas the knitted wool sleeves add a sophisticated and polished touch to any outfit. It has a classic round neck and a slightly oversized fit.
My look in details
I wanted to balance the eye-catching top with a basic pair of jeans. I love to combine statement pieces with neutral basics. This way you never look over the top. I’m wearing my white ReDone jeans. They are not only super comfortable but instantly add a chic attitude to my outfit. I decided to go for heels instead of sneakers. They visually stretch the leg and create a flattering silhouette. My Baum und Pferdgarten coat has already been the main actor in a previous blogpost here. The checked pattern and the color combination of light blue and grey perfectly match my sweater and create an harmonious look.
