All-denim? Do or don’t? Double denim can be a rather tricky thing and you can easily go wrong with it. But when done correctly, you can create amazing and unique looks. Take a look at my favorite new outfit.

Denim on Denim
I have always been a denim girl. Jeans and jean jackets are some of my favorite staples in my wardrobe. Therefore I am also a huge supporter of the all-denim look. Yet, there are a few things you need to pay attention to when you want to pair denim with denim.
As with many things, the key to pulling off the look, is keeping things simple and finding the right balance and proportion.
I like to pair the robust fabric with neutral colors and high quality materials. When choosing the right accessories, however, I’m a bit more experimental and like to splash out on color.
My look in details
For today’s outfit I went for some darker jeans and a lighter jean jacket. The different shades of blue perfectly work together. You already know the beautiful Unravel Project jacket from my previous blogpost here. It has already turned into one of my favorite jackets for fall and winter: outstanding, eye-catching, super cozy and warm. The slightly oversized fit, the dropped shoulders and big flap pockets are such a cool and contemporary take on a classic denim jacket. It is crafted in Italy from high quality cotton, quilted down and warm feathers.
Although it is already very cold outside, I decided to go for a cropped top instead of a cozy jumper. It perfectly shapes my silhouette and creates a nice feminine contrast to the chunky jacket. In addition, I’m finally able to show off this pair of perfect high waisted Citizens of Humanity jeans. I really like to set vibrant highlights and play with contrasts. Choosing colorful heels immediately creates playfulness. I love clashing styles and the way the heels add a feminine touch to the rather rough look.
What do you guys think? Are you part of the all-denim team?
